heard: A military-style helicopter (like a Blackhawk) has been seen departing Republic Airport in Farmingdale, NY several times a day the past three days, with two civilian helicopters in tow- most likely for Salt. (Thanks Moose!)

Anyone know what time regular law and order is filming? what time does gossip girl filming usually go to?
Rachel, GG usually stops filming early to late evening the times I’ve been on set. Spotted Ed out in costume at around 6 so… Anything’s possible! Although I think for a sure bet would be between 10-11… a couple friends of mine saw them ALL filming in the morning.

I’m coming to New York from the 30 th of january till february 7.I Hope to catch a glimp at some actors (really like gossip girl).Do they keep tourists at a big distance usually?Or is it possible to see lots of stuff .Do actors actually talk to fans every once in a while?

For gg film locations, they keep you about 10 ft away. You can usually see everything unless it’s an interior shot. Yes you can talk to the actors but usually after they wrap up filming for the day. xoxo
SATC2 is at Silvercup again today
I went there yesterday. There are no trailers there except for a one connected trailer for the wardrobe dept in the back of the building. I spoke to a guy that worked Production and he told me they finished shooting their scenes in Morocco and wrapped for the movie. Now they are just shooting pick up shots. He seemed pretty honest but I know a lot of these people can lie. It was really cold outside and I felt I wasted my time, I just want to give you guys a heads up before you decide to go there.
They don’t need trailers when they are shooting in the studio. Those are just used for location shooting. Silvercup has wardrobe, makeup and dressing room facilities. They use the stages there to shoot interiors of the ladies apartments, offices, etc.
Yea but can you or anyone confirm if the leads are there or was the guy correct and it’s just pick up shots?

GG was filming around 10:00 on 67th between 5th Ave and Madison. Penn, Blake, and Jessica.

It was everone but Leighton and Ed. Jess, Penn, Blake, Chace, Taylor and Connor were on set today, filming around maddison between 65th and 67th. and in a cafe on maddison Naspresso
Is Laura Harring filming with GG today too? Anyone know? She’s the actress playing Chuck’s mom.

Chace, Blake, Conner, Taylor, Penn and Jess were all filming today. I was there from 9am till 5pm and didn’t see Leighton or Ed so my bet was they were not there

Just got a tip there are gossip girls signs around w 13th/14th and 9th in NYC for tomorrow. I’ll post all locations first thing in the AM. Wanted to get this out asap though and I’m hoping I get a couple more NYC tonite-have a good nite!
If the filming location in Los Angeles is “Willow Street” that means it’s an “interior” scene….and usually at this address they shoot mostly music videos………like bon jovi’s “it’s my life” and black eyed peas’ “i gotta feeling” and many more….
