any information on where ” the romantics” will be filming this week or next?
Met Matt Damon at the Gala tribute to Clint Eastwood. Matt told me himself that he isn’t done filming the movie. His PR rep told me, he is going to be taking a flight to L.A. today (12/2), not sure if it’s after filming or instead of filming. But he will be back in town on Friday. Matt Damon mentioned that he had an early something couldn’t make out if it was filming or a flight. I would appreciate it if someone can post a schedule for Friday or next week. His wife rushed him out after the event and I would like to meet him again.
Also, I hear that Wall Street 2 wrapped entirely on Sunday. Can someone please confirm if this is true or not.

Wall Street 2 Didn’t wrap on Sunday….I ran into Shia….actually he ran into me when he was coming out of his trailer on Monday near the Staten Island Ferry.

Yea, I got really close to Eastwood, he wouldn’t sign. His PR rep kept saying it was his own fault and mentioned some non-sense about coming back 9:30am then gave me his number to his Oakland Office. I met Matt Damon, I wasn’t quick enough and he only signed 1 item. On the way out he didn’t sign anything, but at least he addressed the crowd. The crowd was heckling him because he almost always signs everything. Are you going to see De Niro on Thursday?
Was it just me or did EVERYONE seem to be “in a rush” last night? What the hell was the hurry?! The PR said it was Eastwood’s own fault for not signing? That’s hilarious…and kind of a strange thing to say. Poor Matt! People need to relax and understand that as disappointing as it is to walk away empty handed, sometimes the stars really are pressed for time and need a break. Glad you got SOMETHING, though, and your time wasn’t completely wasted. Also glad I ended up not going with you over there; I was exhausted and had another place to be (which was why I didn’t actually attend the event despite my invitation). I will be at the DeNiro thing tomorrow so look for me if you’re going.

Oliver Stone previously told the Daily News he planned to wrap Wall Street 2 by Thanksgiving, so it is likley they finished up for good on Sunday. Of course like so many other movies, maybe they will come back for re shoots. Where did they film on Sunday please???
Monday was there was their last day and the Invictus Premiere in L.A. is tomorrow so it would make sense he’s flying to L.A. tonight and will be back Friday.

Construction seems to have forced The Other Guys crew to scatter around the area of Broadway and Liberty. Trucks on site now, but no visibile acitvity. In fact, I cannot seem to find the filming location at all (maybe an inside set?)

I think Alexa Chung airs live at 3:30pm, but Nick Jonas is not on the schedule for tomorrow, only Peter Facinelli and The Big Pink. Besides, Nick Jonas is performing live tonight at the Grammy nominations concert in LA.

The newswire I got listed these guests: Tom Hanks, Gayle King, Jerry Seinfeld, Christine Baranski, Justin Kirk, Elias Koteas, George Stephanopoulos, Mary-Louise Parker and many more.
Annie, I don’t mean to be a pest. But are you sure Tom Hanks is coming to the NY premiere not the L.A. premiere. He is a L.A. guy.
Personally, I don’t know anything for sure. All I know is that the press release was only for the NYC premiere and Tom Hanks was listed as one of the additional celebrity guests. His wife, Rita Wilson, is in the movie, so maybe they will both be attending.
Rita Wilson is scheduled to appear on The View on Tues, Dec. 8th, which means she will most likely be here for the NYC premiere, It makes sense that Tom Hanks would come to NYC with his wife to support her, for a change.

Hi Annie, thanks! I actually talked to that reporter about the article but didn’t make it in (other than the mention). I’m actually working on a whole post addressing this- you can’t imagine the emails I’ve gotten about this — but I’ll address it all in the post, so much drama and you’re right, most people didn’t even know about it!
