As we’ve reported, Degrassi: The Next Generation is currently filming in and around NYC and last week we received our first pictures from the set!
One of our readers, Gerardine, caught the cast filming in Times Square and here’s what she had to say about the experience: “Thank you olv. Because of this site I was able to see the cast of Degrassi film in the middle of Times Square. They were right in front of the MTV Building. I was able get pics as well as autographs from Annie Clark (Fiona), Landon Liboiron (Declan) and Paula Brancati (Jane). They were super nice and were very eager to meet the fans. Charlotte Arnold (Holly J) was filming a scene with Mr. J from America’s Next Top Model so I wasn’t able to get a pic with her and Stefan Brogen (Mr. Simpson) was directing the shoot. Enjoy the pics and again thanks.”

We also just learned that Degrassi will be filming around E. 32 St & 5th Ave in NYC on 11.11 from 5 AM-11 PM. Thanks Priscilla!

most of the cast according to twitter has left to canada and today is there season 9 wrap party is it confirmed that degrassi is filming wednesday?
permit signs were spotted for Wed, sorry, we don’t have any other details.

i passed by 32nd and 5th, degrassi permit signs were for 11/04/09, last wed. 11/11 is veteran’s day so that is the route for the parade.

Sorry you didn’t find anything, sometimes our tipsters do misread the info on the signs, I’m sure it’s not on purpose, everyone makes mistakes.
The only thing I can say to everyone is to check back frequently, as you can see above someone corrected the mistake here yesterday and I updated the info in our upcoming calendar yesterday too. I apologize again, we do our best to provide accurate info but like with everything else, there are occasionally errors.
