Hi Movie Location Lovers. Brando here for a brand new installment of On Location Vacations’ Movie Locations: In Films Then and Now.

Let’s open with a boom. First, we’re in downtown NYC, where the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel Ventilator Building on Battery Place, north of Battery Park (close to Wall St), works as the HQ of the MIB Department in both Men in Black & Men in Black II. The Building was obviously used as an exterior and will surely be used again if a Men in Black 3 movie goes in production. ;)

The next movie location is from the more recent Woody Allen movie Whatever Works. We’re close to the previous location, on the South Ferry Pier (close to Battery Park), where you can embark on a trip to the Statue of Liberty. In this scene Boris and Melodie talk while watching a far off Statue of Liberty.

Continuing our trip, here’s another famous Will Smith location. You can find it right in front of the Ghostbusters HQ, at the North Morre Tower (N Moore St @ Varick St). In the 2005 comedy Hitch, this was Will Smith’s apartment building where he teaches Albert Brennaman (Kevin James) how to conquer Allegra.

Here’s another Twilight location. We’re at the Kalama High School (Kalama, Oregon) in the front parking lot that was used by the Cullen’s. It’s in this parking lot that Edward saves Bella from the truck crash.

Let’s close today with a classic location. We’re at the Bathesda Fountain, Central Park, NYC, which has been used in several movies including Enchanted. It was also the setting for ‘We Can Do It’ in the 2005 remake of  The Producers and the hiding spot for Kevin McCallister in Home Alone 2. Other movies that feature the fountain include I Love New York, Elf and Hollywood Ending.

And for today that’s all, thanks for reading. See you to next week ;)
