
One of our readers, Angela, randomly spotted Beyonce walking into Bergdorf Goodman with two bodyguards last week. Later that same day, Beyonce and Jay-Z had lunch at Nello’s restaurant on the Upper East Side where they spent $1700 including the $500 tip.
It just goes to show, you never know who you’ll run into on the streets of Manhattan!

Katie Holmes is leaving Boston for The Big Apple.
Mrs. Tom Cruise has been standing by her man while he films Knight and Day with Cameron Diaz in Beantown but she is striking out on her own later this week to begin The Romantics in NYC.
Katie will replace Liv Tyler in the indie film which also stars Anna Paquin, Josh Duhamel, Malin Akerman, Elijah Wood, Adam Brody and Jeremy Strong. According to Variety, the movie is about eight college friends who reunite for a wedding.
The Romantics begins shooting around New York City this week so be on the look out for permit signs! And we’ll keep you posted with set pictures and filming location updates throughout the shoot!

Tickets for the 2010 People’s Choice Awards go on sale Monday, November 2, 2009 at 10 A.M. The star-studded event will take place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on January 6, 2010.
You will be able to buy tickets via Ticketmaster at 10 AM tomorrow. Currently, the “American Express Award Winning Package”, which includes tickets to the awards, passes to the post-party and access to the red carpet are listed at $800. The American Express Nominee Package includes tickets to the event and red carpet viewing for $225. There will also be American Express Preferred Seating tickets available for American Express customers only.
