Red Dawn 2010 continues filming on Warren and Saginaw Sts in Pontiac, MI until 10.4, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and at the Main Street Pawn Shop, at 20 N. Saginaw through 10.1. They also recently set up an official website for the film where fans and local residents can discuss the production. The movie stars Connor Cruise, son of Tom Cruise, who was spotted in Detroit this weekend before returning to Boston yesterday.

Doree, I forgot to thank you for sending the times from the Rescue Me no parking signs! That is SO important. It tells me that waiting till early afternoon to get up there is probably a better idea.
Everyone who sends in tips, please make note of the times on the permits. It really helps, especially those of us who come in from outside the city.
Went by the SVU shoot and talked to a crew guy. All shooting is indoors today. Just some FYI.

He either lied or didn’t know any better b/c I was there today and took pictures. They were outdoors in the early afternoon and then they were planning on moving inside afterwards.

My friend is there now & saw a sign saying that they’ll be filming at Bowery & Grand street from 6am – 11pm tomorrow 9/30 & thursday 10/1. Nothing there now though. The sign also says vehicles not moved by 8pm tonight will be towed, so I doubt they’re filming there today.

“Wichita” crew parked at Northern Ave pass the Seaport Hotel. They have all their trucks & cars parked on a wide space. I heard several fake “gunshots” so I’m not sure if it’s just the crew’s parking or they are shooting there. I was told they would do the car scene today. There are also yellow signs with “Zephyr” on it. I went by but you can’t really get close. Please update “Wichita” filming locations in case any of you knows where they’ll film in the next few days.
No soign of ashley tisdale on 5th and spring or 4th and hill street. But 24 is filming at 6th and spring. THe office is starting to set up at the Marriot hotel on 3rd and figueroa.

The Office, it appears, may be shooting some interior scenes…my son who’s familiar with the show tells me that some of the show’s scenes are filmed outdoors—usually with a handheld camera to make the shot look shaky….like a documentary film would…it would still be ok to go since the hotel’s main entrance to the lobby remains open to the public….

The Other Guys is filming on Staten Island tomorrow and Thurs. One definite location is Clawson Street between Rose and Sterling, from 6am-11pm. Its also filming on 10th Street, but I’m not sure where- I only saw the signs along Clawson, one of my coworkers told me about 10th St cause she lives there.
