Gossip Girl is getting two new guest stars this season. It was announced last week that Hilary Duff will be joining the cast for an arc that begins October 5th. The CW series’ spokeswoman, Melissa Burton, says the 21-year-old singer and actress will guest-star next season as “a movie star looking for a typical college experience.” Duff’s character, Olivia Burke, enrolls at NYU and becomes roommates with hipster Vanessa. Apparently, Olivia will spark a romance with Vanessa’s BFF, Dan, which should make things interesting.
Privileged’s JoAnna Garcia is also joining the cast for four episodes. Garcia will play Bree, a Miss America-like Southern belle whose progressive lifestyle belies her conservative roots. Bree will also be a new, blond love interest for Nate.
Season three premieres Sept. 14th on The CW.

Goes to show, you can’t believe everything you read, I saw on several sites that her hair was blonde, lol!
