First of all, I just got confirmation that Gossip Girl does start filming in NYC on Monday June 29th!! We’re working on getting a location.
Morning Glory is filming at 5th Ave and 85th St in NYC. (Thanks Jamie and Scoobs!)
Sorcerer’s Apprentice signs are posted on 18th between 6th and 7th Ave in NYC through Fri. Also, they are still filming near Bowling Green station, NYC tonight.
A Couple of Cops, directed by Kevin Smith, was scheduled to be filming in Ridgewood, Queens, on Myrtle Ave and Cypress Ave, through today (Thanks Felicia!) but yesterday, they were filming on 12th St in Brooklyn between 5th and 6th Ave instead so I’m not sure which location they are at (if either) today. (Thanks Kelly!)
The Bounty, starring Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston, continues filming in Atlantic City today.
24 is filming at 1201 W 5th St, Los Angeles through 6.26.
Dexter is filming near E Olympic Plaza and Termino Ave, Long Beach, CA.

The Runaways, starring Kristen Stewart, is filming at at the Le Conte Middle School at Bronson and Fountain, by KTLA Channel 5 studios close to the 170 Hollywood Fwy. (A million thanks to John!!) update: filming inside the auditorium, not an exterior shoot.
How Do You Know? is filming tonight starting about 6:30pm until “late” near McPherson Square on corner of15th and I street in Washington DC. The crew has been setting up the lighting structures, etc all day. Jack Nicholson was walking around the area this morning, but not filming. Apparently they are filming there tomorrow (26th) also, as No Parking signs are up from now until 4am on 27th. (Thanks to Tim for all the info!!!)
RIP: Just in case you didn’t know…Michael Jackson died tonight at the UCLA Medical Center. There is a crowd gathered outside paying their respects. Same day as Farrah Fawcett, what are the chances??

The second thing is we are looking to make some changes to the site to make it easier for users and (more importantly) me! We have kicked around posting the info in a calendar (but there would be no comments, everyone will have to post in the forum), we experimented with a map but again it would have to be separate from a post because we have so many locations, I’ve thought about doing a separate post for each location but that seems like a lot more work for me, so anyway, if anyone has any suggestions, let us know!
And… speaking of easier for me, I haven’t been able to respond to everyone who has emailed because I have gotten so many requests so I’m so sorry if I haven’t gotten back to you. If I don’t have an answer or someone has just sent in a comment, I probably haven’t been able to get back to you and I feel terrible, hopefully I’ll get thing more organized and can have more time for emails, etc. Thanks for bearing with me!
I like the way you’re doing things now. Surely after Rob has left NYC things will calm down here. But if you’re really stressing on the amount of traffic etc… I’d suggest getting some more help/people on your team. Maybe moderators for the boards or someone to help sort out emails? Then the load will be a little less for you and the posts can be up in a timely manner when you’re not around.
I don’t know. Do what you think is best! But I like the whole grouping locations by day thing. And I’m glad you seperated the Remember Me locations. It was getting tiresome having to go through 50 comments asking where Rob is.

date night was definitely at bay terrace, bayside queens earlier this evening around 8:30
i used to read gawker stalker all the time and they had a way to list celeb sighting spots on a google maps thing, maybe you could get something like that, you could list the locations A) B) C) kinda thing then just put those red pin things at each location. jesus i sound dumb, but hopefully you will understand my ramblings. anyway, i agree, after r patz is gone, and yes i will miss him being in our city, but, things should slow down just a little.
and what are all these girls going to do, having to pick between gg and rpatz??? i wonder if they will ever be filming around the same area at the same time?? hahahaha that would be crazy.

LoL I never meant paid work. Just a few volunteers. Kind of like how you run a LJ comm or a forum. One head, and a few helpers going around. All voluntary ofcourse.
The multiple maps thing I think would just slow down the site. It would take too long to load. Just my two cents..
