it hasn’t started yet, i heard they are starting to do casting, screen tests, etc but Harrison Ford is still filming another movie in WA.

Hey! Does anyone know what they are filming on E. 53rd St. in NYC today? The trailers say “Lucy” and “Desi” on them. Is there a new I love Lucy movie coming out? I can’t find anything online about it, but it’s been filming forever!
I think those are just people that work on set or something. I saw those trailers for sorcerers apprentice and also that movie with Meryl streep, steve martin, etc that was filming last week in midtown. Both shot near my office and both had the Lucy and Desi on doors of the trailers.
The Lucy and Desi trailers are the bathrooms for the crew, Lucy is the ladies’ room, Desi, the mens’.

L.A. UPDATE: Went by the Date Night set on 6th and Broadway this morning and was told that they will be filming tonight. They will be filming at night till Friday.
Yesterday I went to 544 Mateo to check out Date Night. They did not film at this location. Instead I came upon an Entertainment Weekly photo shoot in the area featuring Megan Fox! Several weeks ago, I went to this location to check out “Zombieland” and stumbled upon a video shoot of Black Eyed Peas.
Thanks for the update John, yeah, sometimes the L.A. tips come from permit notices which tend to change at the last min, we do the best we can! Sounds like 544 Mateo might be a hots pot, maybe you should drive through there everyday and see what you find!
