The Surrogates (starring Bruce Willis, and filmed the majority of scenes in Massachusetts last year) is filming at Spring St from 4th St to 6th St, Harlem Alley, 5th St to North to end, and 5th St from Main St to Broadway (6:00 A.M. – 9:00 P.M) in L.A. on Sunday 4/12.
Herbert White, directed by James Franco, is filming (through the 12th) in Suffolk, VA. (Thanks to Sarah!)
Main Street, featuring Orlando Bloom, is filming at Liberty and Dillard St, Durham, NC (through the weekend).
The Sorcercer’s Apprentice, starring Nicolas Cage, is still filming at the Bedford Armory in Brooklyn.

Anybody know if SALT is filming this weekend? Also, why is it called SALT?
It’s called Salt bc that is Angelina Jolie’s characters last name. The part was actually originally written for Tom Cruise and the main character was Edwin A. Salt, but they changed it to Evelyn Salt for Angelina. Apparently, Tom was dropped from the project after demanding $20 million.
I took this tip out of the post because I got an email this mornign saying that there is nothing filming in this area-thanks!

Ran by the studio for Bored to Death and they have signs up for through the 17th, but no trucks there today. will check again on Monday.
Hey Todd- which studio is it? Broadway Stages, maybe?
I don’t think it’s affiliated with Broadway Stages. The studio is about half a mile away from Broadway Stages,on Green Street on the corner of Provost street. If I run over that way, I will see if there are any trucks over there. No signs for anything at Broadway. I saw a guy with blueprints coming out of the studio for UNMP right after the filming stopped and he said the cast was filming in California and would be back to shooting there in 5 weeks. Will keep an eye on that studio as well.
Just fyi, Fringe is filming 1 episode for season 2, so they might be here a little longer.

The Baster was actually not at the Roosevelt but they were in the area. They were down on 42nd and Madison and it looked like they were probably in the subway station there. The trailers are at 43rd and Madison. Saw Jason Bateman walk out of his at 11:15 going to the set but didn’t act quick enough to go up to him. No sight of paparazzi or Jennifer, but she may be there.

Angelina Jolie will be in Albany, NY filming “Salt” from April 23 to May 4. She is filming on I-787 N, closing the roads almost every day from 6 AM to 8 PM.
