Filming Locations for 4.30.09 and 5.1.09

Updates:

Here’s more information about New Moon filming in Vancouver. Bella’s house is on 184th off 28th Surrey, security is super tight, blocking both ends of the street but some people have been able to catch a glimpse of some of the actors leaving. Most of the filming have been going on at night and actors leaving early morning. They’ve also been filming at Paramount in New Westminster, not sure if they are still there today (Saturday). Date Night, starring Tina Fey and Steve Carell, is filming at 600 S Broadway, Frank Ct from 6th St to 7th St, Los Angeles through Friday.

Southland is filming at 570 Arroyo S, Pasadena, CA through Friday and 830 S Hill St, Los Angeles.

The Baster, starring Jennifer Aniston, is filming around 92nd and Riverside, NYC through Friday. (Thanks Meira and Marielle!)

We got a tip that Fair Game was filming in Wheatley Heights, Long Island during the night, not sure if they are still there or will be back tonight.

Filming Locations for 4.29.09

Here’s some scoop on New Moon filming in Vancouver. They are filming on and off at Bella’s House which is located at 184th and 28th Surrey, BC. We also heard they are filming nights all this week. Two other potential locations this week are a dam in Coquitlam and Robson St, Vancouver. (Thanks to Anon and Kim at Pillowbiters!)

Born To Be A Star, starring Christina Ricci, is filming in Downey, CA. (Thanks Frank!)

Up in Air, starring George Clooney, is filming in Old Market, Omaha, NE. George’s character’s apartment is at 11th and Howard in Omaha.

Bored To Death, starring Jason Schwartzman, is filming around Brighton 5th Street and Brightwater Court, Brooklyn.

Ugly Betty is filming on 11th and 12th Sts between University and 5th, 9th st between 5th and 6th, and 5th Ave from 11th -13th St, NYC. (Thanks Kelsey!)

Filming Locations for April 28th, 2009

Southland is filming under the 6th St/Whittier Bridge and 590 S. Santa Fe Ave, Los Angeles (5 a.m.-2 p.m.).

Day One, a new NBC pilot, is filming at 1201 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles (through tomorrow).

The Closer is filming at 610 S Main St, Los Angeles.

SVU is filming in Coney Island. (Thanks to Samm and Natalie!) Update: They are filming near Surf Ave and West 12th St. (Thanks sam!)

Law and Order: CI is filming West 25th and 9th, NYC.

The Baster is filming at East 50th Street/51st Street from Park Ave to Madison Ave, NYC, all week. We also got a report they will be filming on Riverside all week too. (Thanks Meira) Update: They are filming around 92nd and Riverside, NYC. (Thanks Marielle!)

Signs spotted for something called Hungry Man around 9th Ave and 15th St, NYC.

Ugly Betty is filming around Church St between Warren St and Park Place, also on Murray St between Church St and West Broadway, NYC. Sgins also spotted for UB tomorrow (*might actually be April 30th, move cars April 29th) on 10th St between University and 5th Ave. (Thanks Yosef and Anon!)

I only have one more for the rest of the week so far:

Southland will be filming at 570 Arroyo S, Pasadena on 4/30-5/1.

We are going to be away for a few days this week and probably won’t have internet access. If I can’t post new locations everyday, I will post any information I have in the comments of the latest post, so keep a close eye on the comments this week. 4.27.09 Filming News Wrap Up: Top Chep Moves to Vegas, Rob Pattinson Filming in NYC This Summer, and More!

The next season of Top Chef began filming in Las Vegas today.

There will be an open casting call for Adam Sandler’s Lake House at Felt, 533 Washington St. in Boston’s Downtown Crossing area, on Saturday, May 2 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Robert Pattinson is going to be filming the romantic comedy Remember Me in New York City this summer after New Moon wraps in Vancouver.

Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, and Sam Worthington began filming Clash of the Titans outside of London today.

Hilary Swank will be filming Invasion of Privacy, a suspense thriller she is also producing, in Albuquerque next month.

Ugly Betty Filming at The Mets Game Last Week!

Filming Locations for 4.27.09

Blue Valentine, starring Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling, will be filming at Wayne Delaware Manor in Pennsylvania sometime this week, I couldn’t find a specific date though.

If I Tell You I Have to Kill You is filming at 1335 Willow St, Los Angeles.

The Closer is filming at 365, 411 & 425 S Main St, Los Angeles.

Peep World, starring Sarah Silverman, Michael C. Hall, and Rainn Wilson, is filming at 585 S Santa Fe Ave, Los Angeles. Here’s a set report from Peep World last week.

Salt continues filming in Albany, NY. There will also be a second unit filming near State St and Bond St in Brooklyn. No word on which location (if either) Angelina will be at. Update: Angie is at the Brooklyn location. (Thanks Lily!)

The Baster is filming on 89th and Broadway, NYC. Signs also spotted on East 50th Street/ 51st Street from Park Ave to Madison for the entire week. (Thanks Meira, Todd and Debbie!) Update: They are filming at 300 Park Ave this morning. (Thanks MovieBuff and JAM!)

Royal Pain, a new USA series, is filming at Jones Beach.

Sorcerer’s Apprentice is back at the Bedford Armory in Brooklyn today.

Exclusive Photos of Angelina Jolie Filming ‘Salt’ in Albany, NY

Today, we checked out the set of Salt, starring Angelina Jolie, in Albany, NY.

According to IMDb,the movie is about Evelyn Salt (Jolie), a CIA officer who swore an oath to duty, honor, and country. When she is accused by a defector of being a Russian sleeper spy, Salt goes on the run to clear her name and ultimately prove she is a patriot. Using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative, she must elude capture and protect her husband or the world’s most powerful forces will erase any trace of her existence.

They are shooting scenes just off of I-787, Exit 3B in downtown Albany (the exit and surrounding exits are closed). You can see the whole production (including Angie) from the highway. We got a few shots of her as we drove by and then pulled off and parked about a block from the set. We were lucky we came across a PA who pretty lax about the whole thing and let us stand just a few feet away from where they were shooting. Because we were in a parking structure on a roof and she was filming on a truck we were eye level with all the action.

The scene involved Angie hanging onto the roof of a 40 foot shipping container speeding down the highway. Her body double was there too but it looked like she was doing most of today’s stunts herself. We watched them film the scene three times and got some great shots of Angelina in between takes. She looked relaxed and seemed to be having a good time.

They continue filming at the Albany location tomorrow but there is no word on whether Angelina will still be there or not. They filmed scenes last week using only her body double.

It also appears she is staying at the Crown Plaza, Albany. There were buses outside the hotel, which is only a few blocks away from the set, for the cast and crew.
