Salt, starring Angelina Jolie, is filming at St. Bart’s (5oth and Park, NYC) again Saturday, 3/21. FYI: Salt is filming in studio today (Friday) and Angie will not be on set (thanks Lily and Anon!). We heard at one point the studio was going to be the former Grumman Aerospace Factory in Long Island but we’re not positive that is where they are filming today.

@Cia: I heard that they will announce the Twilight’s star’s appearance’s on Access Hollywood, i don’t know if it will be announced on the website or the show. The star in NYC will be Edi Gathegi (Laurent) i think, because he was on Good Day NY this morning which means he is in NYC. check with newmoonmovie.org they always have updated inforamtion.

Tracy- FYI: I got a PM from someone who knows someone who is an extra on RM and they said that this person isn’t scheduled to work until Mon- I don’t know if its possible other people are working on Sunday but I wanted to pass that on. I also tried to email the person who left this tip too and dind’t hear back so I just wanted to update you, I’ll let you know if I hear anything else.

It is there now, they haven’t actually started filming they were just setting up. Base camp (trailers) are near the Sheraton hotel near the airport. Just follow the signs

As of right now I don’t have anything new for tomorrow and as far as GG goes, soemone did post a comment that they are filming tomorrow but I have not heard that. I even emailed one of the people who sends me GG tips alot and they didn’t know anything about filming on Sat so I don’t know what’s going on.
Salt should be cool tomorrow though – they are finishing filming a funeral scene that was huge last weekend.
If anyone has any tips for Sat, please leave a comment, I may not be able to answer my email right away, thanks!
Hey, Christine, I am just wondering. Have you posted all of this wonderful information based solely on tips or is this stuff a matter of public record? Could I, say, go to FilmLA and look up filming info in Southern Cal? I just stumbled on this site and I think it’s great but I would like to know how to look up this stuff if its possible. Thanks for any info!
you can’t. It used to be public record till 9/11. Since then you have to prove you are part of the industry before you can get access to the filming list. At least thats how it is in LA. I was looking at that site earlier and you can’t get locations through it.
I think you can sign up for street closures for your own neighborhood in L.A., as like a public service, but there is no website where the info is public- if there were- there would be no need for OLV and I would def. be providing a link to it.
Also, in NYC, you can go to the Mayor’s Office one day a week and look at filming permits but the time they give you is very limited and there is usually a long line of paps so it is difficult to get all of the locations in NYC in that limited time.
There are also media lists that go around that I get once in awhile with info about filming events etc but again you have to be a part of the media- they are not public-and often cost $.
The Pasadena Film office does publish a filming calendar at their website which I link to whenever there is a movie or TV show filming there and seeing-stars.com lists alot of the premiere info in L.A but again I always make sure to include that info in our monthly filming events.

I spotted a NYPD sign just across The Apthorp (b’way and 78th street, NYC); they will be filming “the sorcerer’s apprentice” the whole next week (mon 23 thru fri 27).
In Roosevelt Island there are signs of Salt (S).
I got locations for Fringe and the Untitled Nancy Meyers Project for this coming week. Ill wait for the post to come up.

letting ya know salt is being filed at grumman i live across from it so ive seen alot of the equipment including for some reason 2 WW2 erra tanks what i belive is a german panzer and a american sherman
