About two hours ago, Kings was setting up on 22nd between 10th and 11th. It looks like it will be indoor, though. (Thanks to Charlotte!)

gg usually starts early early morning and goes till like 11pm. you either have to wait around all day or just be lucky and go at a time when they’re leaving the trailers

i got there around 2 and kind of hung out till about 7 lol they were walking around all day but they were on a tight schedule and couldn’t really stop to talk, which is why i waited around for so long haha

hey quick question , def thinking bout heading down there for the GG filming , when i went last time i waited maybe an hour and got photos with penn and ed who are cool people … but if i went down there in the morning and stood around till maybe 4pm … what are the odds of getting photos with? i have things to do in upstate ny at 7 so i think 4 is the latest i could stay. anyone know if its worth it or not ?

I see that this site has an abundance of GG fans, I was wondering if someone could please take a break from that set and trek down to The Unusuals set? Us poor saps that live nowhere near NYC would love to hear reports on the goings on there. You seriously don’t know what you’re missing by not going to that set.
i really want to go there, i have a lot of stuff to do today, but amber tambyln (sp?) is great and i want to meet her so badly! if they are filming anywhere tomorrow i promise to go and return with a full report!

nicole, my friend told me they usually film in the studio on Fridays.
I’ve gone to all the tapings this week, & I’ve never had to skip school to meet ed.
today was my sixth time meeting him [Tuesday & Wednesday were my 4th & 5th times] & I always go after school.
I’ve never not gone to school just to go to a GG taping especially since they are usually always in manhattan.
so don’t skip school, it’s stupid & you’ll be waiting in the cold forever because I don’t think they are even there at like, 8 am.
Does anyone know if they are still filming now? If so ill head down after work

soooo….slightly embarrassing buuuutt i’m a senior in college and unnaturally addicted to gossipgirl and when i read corynne’s post i was super proud! lol i think it’s awesome that you’ve seen them so many times and have not missed school to do so!
i’m going to be in VT this weekend, but back in the city next week, so if anyone wants to make early plans to go gg sighting, let me know. i go to school on the ues and know the area so if we’re successful with awesome pictures, we can go get lunch afterwards! =)

today was actually my 11th GG taping since sept. 12 & it started with good luck because I met ed & leighton on the first day.
so I guess it was a sign that I would have good luck with them.
& I’m gonna try to go as often as possible this year.
I go to HS on the UES.
so maybe I can get your email & we can tell each other if we are going to certain tapings or whatever.
I met a really good friend at a GG taping & we go to them together.

Robert Downey JR is filming Sherlock Holmes in Brooklyn, anyone have details?
Actor Robert Downey Jr. walked with his arm around wife Susan in between takes for his latest movie “Sherlock Holmes” in Brooklyn, New York. Robert can also be seen carrying a box of Gluten Free cereal heading back to his trailer for breakfast. Guy Ritchie is directing and his co-star is Jude Law and Rachel McAdams. Earlier yesterday our photographer asked Robert if Robert would give him a good shot to which a crew member replied “Take a shot of this!” Nice smile Mr. crew member!

oh one mroe thing– i may have mentioned this before but gossip girl is supposed to stop filming early-mid march, for this season, im 97% sure on that… either way they start back up like what i think august? for the next season haha

Anna – are you sure about that mid-March date being the end of the season filming and not just winter break? The reason I ask is because GG has three additional episodes to film (25 vs. 22) and it doesn’t seem like mid-March would be enough time fo finish. Thanks.
