UPDATE:
Last Night is filming in SoHo this week. Signs for filming from Monday 10-20 until Thursday 10-23 from 6am-2am everyday. The signs were posted around Spring St and Sullivan Streets. (Thanks Kerry!)

Gossip Girl is filming at Five Star Banquet Hall (1305 43rd Ave) in Long Island City.
Rescue Me is filming in Woodhull Hospital, 760 Broadway in Bed-Stuy.
Edge of Darkness is filming at 68 Bradfield in Roslindale (MA) from Oct 21-24.

Finally, New Yorkers: Be on the lookout for signs for Last Night. It started shooting yesterday (thru Dec 5th) in the NYC area, it stars Keira Knightley! Also look out for An Invisible Sign of My Own starring Jessica Alba, filming starts soon! (Heard some of this will be filmed at the Steiner Studios in Brooklyn.) Signs for “Last Night” were on Spring St. somewhere near West Broadway on 10/20/08.

I passed the Betty set and it looks like they are filming interior shots, at least for the moment.
There are signs for something called Escalator (i think) on 33rd St. between Herald Sq. and Madison Sq. Garden. It looked like they were just setting up to film when I was there around 11am.

i went to the gossip girl set today. ed had already left =( Penn Blake and Chace were all there. it looked like they were filming a huge party. Every time i turned around i saw a person in a tux or a gown =)
Went to check out “Last Night.” The were filming inside of a restaurant on Thompson right by Spring St. There was a big black tarp over the window so you couldn’t see in. The paparazzi were in full force and the crew member I talked to said Keira has been really fed up with them lately. He said that they are going to be filming later tonight (maybe now) from the outside of the restaurant looking in, so you can probably get a good glimpse of the inside now.
Stopped by Ugly Betty late afternoon. They were filming indoor scenes including lots of the characters (Betty, Mark, Amanda, Hilda, etc).. Thanks for the tip

hey I went to TRL today and the whole cast of high school musical was there: zac, vanessa, ashley, monique, and corbin but no ryan. it was really awesome. so if youre a hsm fan they are in the city. BE ON THE LOOKOUT.
Gossip Girl is in the Foundry, not the Five Star Banquet. Thats where they are holding all of the extras.
