Rescue Me is filming around Java and Franklyn in Brooklyn.
How To Make It In America is filming on 310 East 4th St. between Aves C & D, then there’s a company move to Soho, between Greene & Spring Sts in Manhattan. (Thanks Callie!) On SUNDAY (11/2) they are filming on 4th street between avenues C and D in Manhattan. (Thanks Dr!)

SVU Set Photos

One of our readers, Cassandra, met Mariska Hargitay on the set of Law and Order: SVU Monday. Check out her recap and pictures below. Thanks to Cassandra!
“I arrived on location around 1:00 pm and they were packing up. After a trip to Starbucks, I was going to head back home until a guy say “Look Mariska Hargitay” and I turned and she was right in front of me. I said “Hi” and she said “hi” back so i was going to say something when she said, “they just called me on set follow me and she was pulling on my sweatshirt to follow her.. I walked down the street with her (75th street between central park west and columbus) and talked to her about somethings and then she’s like wait here I gotta go on set for a set I’ll be right back”. She came back out on her phone and went to make up. A half an hour later her hubby Peter came by and left. I got a picture with Mariska then she had to go because she kept asking a set guy (nice guy btw) how much time does she have and he responded 5 minutes. Mariska’s security guard was like what do you want to do and she said I wanna go home for a bit. So she walked around the corner and walked home.”

The Joneses is filming in Georgia and is expected to continue through November. Here are pictures of Demi Moore and David Duchovny on the set in Atlanta.
A segment of Unwrapped was recently filmed at the Berres Brothers Coffee Roasters in Watertown, WI.
HBO is filming a new documentary in General Santos City in the Philippines.
The nominees for the Gotham Independent Film Awards have been announced. The awards will be held on December 2nd in NYC.
The Bill Collector is on location in Virginia Beach until November 7th.
On Halloween night there is going to be a party held at one of the locations used in The Shining.
Middle Men started shooting this week in Phoenix and they are looking for extras.
This isn’t necessarily location related but it’s really cool.
The California Location Awards honored Entourage and Life last weekend.
Guess there is a reason why we had so many TV shows and so few movie locations to report recently.
Extras needed in Pittsburgh for Sorority Row starring Rumor Willis.
The Coen Brothers’ gave residents and students in St. Olaf, MN an inside look at A Serious Man.
And, if you can’t make it to one of the cool festivals happening around the country this month, don’t forget about Monster Fest on AMC (now Fear Fest). It isn’t October without it!
