Got to see Lindsay (with Samantha Ronson) get chased by paparazzi from her trailer to the set. And saw Lindsay and America Ferrera shooting a scene together. They were filming at 26th St. Between 10th and 11th...but their stuff was ALL over the area. Also got to meet Tiffany! Went to the Ugly Betty shoot tonight! The miserable arrogant people that clog up the streets with their tractor trailers and equipment stink. The taxpayers in this city are denied their rights, which by the way they pay taxes for while these shoots are going on. I live in Rockaway where every time I turn around there's another movie or TV show being filmed. We had that bomb Rescue Me filming here for two years. A fire was even started in a house during the filming, a large contingent of NYC fireman were on hand, and by the way unavailable if tragedy were to occur elsewhere. Fire hydrants and bus stops are routinely blocked by the trucks. Two commercial areas down here are currently off limits to the locals. Not to mentioned the losses suffered by the businesses who are cut off from their customers. Klieg lights are left on till the wee hours. There is absolutely no regard for the people who are trying to live here. During the Rescue Me travails, residents were TOLD not to walk their dogs, not to put their sprinklers on, not to let their kids play in the streets ! BAH HUMBUG GO AWAY !
