I took those motel pics with a 200mm zoom and still felt like I was a bit too far to get decent shots. I’d guess that the motel is about 500′ from the road. You’ll need a decent camera to get any closer shots at the hotel (unless you go stealth, lol). If they’re right on the road though, you’ll be in good shape.

Cool pictures!! One thing, how far away from the road is the motel? I mean, I have a zoom, just not a NEW one Will I need like a 10 or more, or isn’t it that far away? hee hee, just making sure I’m prepared. I have SO been looking forward to this, even if it’s not what I expect. I’m expecting JDM in the area at least, so if I have to pop down to NL on Saturday and wander, I may just do that. Mebbee he’ll be walking Bisou…….hm…….

Yep, Last of the Ninth was on both locations – 119 and 116 – but one of the staff members was lurking around with a Law and Order T-shirt! I think maybe a tipster saw that guy and therefore assumed it was a filming for SVU.

Hi Carrie! Tomorrow, I will post our pics from today (we were on set this afternoon) and a report with some details about the set. The set is pretty closed, the motel is set back off the road and is surrounded by fields. There is a basecamp down the street that is easily accessible but I am not sure who is using it (if it is only crew or cast and crew) becuase there were also trailers in the field behind the motel. I think I went to that website last week, but thanks so much!! That’s how I know Friday’s is a night shoot. Will be there waiting to get a glimpse of my main guy, Jeffrey Dean Morgan!! With any luck, since I’m driving 5 1/2 hours just to go to the shoot, I’m hoping to get some pictures with him. As for shoot photos, I will have tons
