in Daily Filming Locations

We have been inundated with emails about this and I have been back and forth with a bunch of you and no one (including me and a few other bloggers I have contacted) can seem to get any details. Here is some of what we have heard:

It is an overnight shoot

It was never happening, just a rumor

It was completely cancelled

Sunday is an off day because they are shooting in Princeton Monday

Part of the bridge is being shut down for traffic

I also talked to a lot of you who were planning on going but are now reconsidering as are we. Does anyone have any other information? Leave a comment if you know something we don’t and we will do the same if we learn something new, thanks!!

My girlfriend and I walked the bride from 12 midnight to 1am and saw no evidence of Transformers being filmed there. We did see a set very close to the bridge, however, which was The Good Heart starring Paul Dano and Brian Cox. They wrapped around 2am, and we didn’t see any of the actors, although the trailers were marked with both character names (Lucas and Jacques) for the two above-mentioned actors. Hopefully some info will come along on Transformers. Also, a crew person on the set of The Good Heart told us they’ll be filming that movie under the bridge next week.

Thanks Justin
I also found this on philly.com:
Gone Hollywood. As mayor, Michael Nutter is expected to work behind the scenes. How about as a TV director, too? Earlier this month, he was invited behind the camera as the FX comedy It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia shot a scene in which Charlie (Charlie Day) filches coins from Swann Fountain on Logan Circle. Director Fred Savage instructed Nutter on key phrases.

Center City actress Sylvia Kauders is the kind of gal who does kiss and tell. Last week, after they’d shot a scene in a South Philly deli for Transformers 2, Shia LaBeouf gave her a kiss – “because I am talented and rich,” says Kauders, who ranks among Philly’s more seasoned actors.

Transformers 2 cameras and crew have been all over (Fairmount Park, University of Pennsylvania) and today are due inside Eastern State Penitentiary, while Rittenhouse Square will double as Paris later this week. Saturday is the scheduled Philly wrap; next stop: Princeton.

We got a few more emails from people who were near the bridge today and also didn’t see any evidence of filming. Thanks to everyone who checked it out and let us know! We also received pics and details from Princeton where they were setting up for this week’s Transformers 2 shoot (more evidence nothing was going to happen at the Brooklyn Bridge). We will be posting the pics tonight, check back!
