“Ang Lee with Focus Films and Tuxedo Terrace are seeking Extras off all types (college kids, hippies, townspeople, police, etc.) for the upcoming film “Taking Woodstock” set in 1969. Long hair a plus. It follows the story of a man, an upstate NY local, who played an unexpected but pivotal role in the 1969 Woodstock Music and Arts Festival. Filming to begin mid-August and continue to mid-October, 2008 in Columbia County, NY.

Recently, we have recieved a couple questions from different people on the same subjects so we thought we would share our answers with everyone.
First, many have wanted to know where the “honeymoon” hotel in Sex and the City is located.
We believe the hotel is The Esperanza Hotel in Cabo San Lucas. It is not only a top rated hotel but it was also the hotel featured in Heartbreak Kid. For more information, check out their website.
Next, many people have asked about how to find where movie premieres are being held.
In NYC things seem to be kept pretty well under wraps but in L.A. it is much easier to find the information. Most premieres happen at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, Majestic Crest Theatre, or Mann’s Village and the schedules are released in advance. You can go to the individual websites for each theater or just check out seeing star’s calendar.
We are also putting together quick reference guides for NYC, L.A., and the Sundance Film Fest for the best places to catch stars any time, so watch for those coming soon!

Law and Order: Criminal Intent is filming in the Bronx again, same location, near Riverdale Ave and 263rd St.
We just got a tip that an untitled movie produced by Moving Parts is filming in L.A. this weekend, could it be Whore, starring Rumor Willis? Tomorrow they are filming at 590 S. Santa Fe Ave & Grand Ave from 2nd St – 3rd St. Sunday they will be at 601 W. 5th St.
Today is the last day for The Surrogates in Lynn, MA.
Also, we are getting a lot of emails asking about Veronika Decides to Die and My One and Only (filming in Baltimore), if anyone has a tip on either, please leave a comment for our readers, thanks!!
