Sam Mendes has a new project starting soon and here is the first location in Woodbury, CT. Filming will take place on April 28th!

The Fifth Mafia will begin filming in Grand Rapids, MI next month.

Once again this year the AFCI Locations Trade Show focused on incentives, which tells us this year’s movies will once again follow the best tax breaks rather than the best setting.

The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past continues filming in Boston. We received the following tip (thanks Les): “Still filming in Chelsea, in the Parkway Plaza area, near corner of Webster Ave and Summit. Enter off of Webster Ave, and in the building to your right as you go down the slope, is where they are. This warehouse has been a soundstage for numerous Boston movies, including The Pink Panther Part Deux.”

We also received a tip that Everybody’s Fine is filming in Stamford, CT today. Our tipster told us the holding area for extras is at the YMCA. We also learned (thanks Ann) that they will be using a penthouse at The Metropolitan to serve as Drew Barrymore’s home in the film.

UPDATE: We recieved the following info about today’s shoot for Crystal (thanks Crystal!!):

” I live in Stamford and Everybody’s Fine is filming in
downtown Stamford CT. Saw the Haddard trucks parked
there. Spoke to a guy from the crew he said Drew
Barrymore and Robert De Niro were on the set. They had
a food stall set up and they were filming a scene with
a white stretch limo infront of a diner called
Curley’s.. Looks like they are changing the name of
the diner to Essex Diner for the movie.”
