On Monday, one of our readers, Melissa, was lucky enough to meet Sarah Jessica Parker on set. Here is her story and AWESOME photo:
As OLV reported, the SATC Movie crew was filming at Lenox Hospital on the Upper East Side today. I got there after shooting wrapped, but caught a glimpse of Cynthia Nixon (sporting a shorter do) and Sarah Jessica Parker about to head home. When a fan asked SJP for a picture, she graciously said yes–then happily posed for one with me as well. I thanked her and she replied, “Thank You.”
Cast and crew will head to LA during the second week of December, come back to NYC to shoot for one day after Christmas, then return to LA again. Filming is scheduled to wrap up mid-January.

Gus Van Sant will begin filming Milk, starring Sean Penn, in San Francisco next year. The film is a biopic about gay rights activist Harvey Milk, Penn plays the lead role.
We had reported last week that Oliver Stone’s Pinkville would begin next month. It looks like the project has been postponed due to the strike.
Here is more on the upcoming Kevin Smith shoot in Pittsburgh. It looks like things will be in full swing after Thanksgiving.

It looks like Bruce Willis will star in The Surrogates which will begin filming next year in Boston.
Ron Howard was in France recently scouting locations, specifically Cern, for the upcoming Angels and Demons.

Sex and the City, Cashmere Mafia, and Gossip Girl are all filming at Silver Cup Studios today. On Monday, SATC will be filming near 83 Christopher St in the West Village.
